To Drive through this country is a long-time practiced habit and reason to visit this country:

• To drive it is for Europeans easy: same side of road, slow driving, hard police checks ..... so nothing special !

• fuel is cheap - places to sleep are easy to find and the whole country depends on road transport ...off-road is more freedom than europe - you drive where you want, just watch out for some restrictions or restricted areas - highways are basically free, some toll-roads are existing...

• we starting in 1986 in a small Chevette in Utah to the west coast until Tichuana - continue eg from  South Bend Indiana where picked up our 35ft RV for shipment to Europe to New Jersey harbour... etc . ... etc...
